Cleantech for Baltics representatives took part in Cleantech Summit 2023

On the 25th of January, Cleantech for Baltics had the opportunity to participate and be part of the Cleantech Summit 2023 in Brussels. The event featured excellent panels on cleantech and Roadmap to a new European Economy. Among guest speakers were Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, and Virginijus Sinkevičius, European Commissioner for the Environment.

At the Summit, the European Innovation Council (EIC), one of the significant public investors into clean technologies, and Cleantech for Europe‘s Investor Coalition, representing 20+ EU cleantech venture capital firms, signed a letter of intent to ramp up their collaboration.

The Summit brings together cleantech CEOs and policy leaders to bridge the gap between the cleantech innovation and policy communities to jointly ensure Europe tackles these challenges with speed, scale, and simplicity.

On another note: the Summit was an excellent occasion for the Cleantech for Baltics team to meet in person. We’re currently working on the full 2022 Cleantech for Baltics Report, so be sure to follow Cleantech for Baltics to stay up-to-date about the Cleantech industry in the Baltics.
